ABOUT ERICk ROSEMOND
Erick Rosemond is a seasoned and effective trial lawyer who has spent his career fighting for people whose lives have been changed by serious injury, defective products, corporate wrongdoing, and negligence. Over the years, he has helped secure hundreds of millions of dollars in verdicts and settlements and has handled cases in courts across the country, including in Texas, California, Missouri, Illinois, and Pennsylvania.
Erick began his legal career with a strong foundation in litigation, judicial service, and legal scholarship. While still in law school, he served as a teaching assistant in Constitutional Law and interned for respected judges at both the state and federal levels. After law school, he joined a major corporate defense firm, where he gained first-hand insight into how large companies defend high-stakes cases.
But Erick ultimately chose a different path. He knew he wanted to stand with people, not corporations. He moved to the plaintiff’s side and became part of major, high-impact litigation involving some of the largest companies in the country, including serving on the Lead Plaintiff’s Counsel’s team in what was then the largest antitrust case in California history, the California Wholesale Electricity Antit. Litigation (MDL 1405)(S.D. California).
As his career evolved, Erick focused more deeply on representing individual clients in the courtroom. He has tried and litigated cases involving dangerous drugs, dangerous products, brain injuries, medical malpractice, and serious motor vehicle collisions. This includes as trial counsel for what was then the largest compensatory damages verdict in Pennsylvania history, and as special counsel to the County Counsel of Santa Clara County, California Miguel Marquez on behalf of the State of California against pharmaceutical giant GlaxoSmithKline for the deceptive marketing of the antidiabetic drug Avandia. It also includes representing individuals suffering brain injury and death from Carbon Monoxide poisoning. Always, the stakes were enormous and the fight was real.
What sets Erick apart is not just the size or complexity of the cases he has handled. It is the way he approaches them. He believes every client deserves a lawyer who is prepared, relentless, and fully committed to telling their story with clarity, force, and humanity. Whether the case involves catastrophic personal injury or complex corporate misconduct, Erick brings the same focus to the job: disciplined preparation, strategic thinking, courtroom strength, and deep respect and admiration for the people he represents.
Outside the courtroom, Erick is a proud father of six, a grandfather, a diehard Texas Longhorn, and a former United States Marine. That background of service and commitment continues to shape the way he practices law and fights for his clients.
